Mincemeat Christmas Tree

Ingredients
Puff pastry
Jar of mincemeat
1 egg
6 glace cherries

Or you can choose to make the more challenging melted snowman cupcakes:

For cupcake

• 120g / 3oz Vanilla Sugar (or normal sugar if you don’t have any)

120g / 30oz Butter

2 Eggs

120g / 3oz Plain Flour

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda

For the Topping

• 250g / 6oz Icing Sugar
• 2 – 3 Tablespoon of Water  (this can be provided at school)
• Large Marshmallows
• A small Black Icing Pen
• A packet of Strawberry Laces
• A packet of Cadbury’s Caramel Nibbles

Large container to hold 12 cupcakes

Mini carrot cakes

Ingredients

150g margarine 250g carrots 200g sugar 200g flour 2 x 5ml cinnamon 2 x 5ml baking powder 2 large eggs 125g sultanas 50g nuts ( e.g. walnuts)

12 cupcake cases
